RIFF 09, 2023, 02: Second list of films to be screened announcedRIFF 09, 2023, 02: Second list of films to be screened announced 9th edition of the Rajasthan International Film Festival (RIFF), organised by RIFF Film Club and accredited by the Federation of Film Societies of India (North Region), will be held from 1st to 5th February 2023 at INOX, Crystal Palm, C-Scheme, Jaipur, with the theme ‘Sports in Cinema’. The second list of films to be screened during this festival was released a couple of days ago. A total of 20 films have been officially selected in the RIFF Panorama, of which 6 films have been selected in the feature film category, and 14 films have been selected in the non-feature film category. The feature film category includes Hindi film Hindutva, directed by Karan Razdan, starring Ashish Sharma, Ankit Raj, Sonarika Bhadoria, Anup Jalota , Govind Namdev, and Dipika Chikhalia; Hindi web series Machhli, directed by Animesh Verma; Hindi film Devil Ullu – The Game Of Devil, directed by Bunty Thakur; international feature film from Italy, Chemical Bros., directed by Massimiliano Mazzotta; Hindi film, The Storyteller, directed by Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, starring Paresh Rawal, Adil Hussain and Tannishtha Chatterjee. In addition, there will be a special screening of RIFF 2023's theme film, Hindi feature film Paan Singh Tomar, directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and starring late Irrfan Khan (who hailed from Jaipur), Mahie Gill and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Non feature film category includes Sanskrit Film Yaanam, directed by Vinod Mankara; Rajasthani music video Jobaniya Jalebi, directed by Sumeet-Saahil and sung by Rekha Rao and Huma Sayeed; Rajasthani short student film, Hath Rapiya, directed by Arvind Choudhary, short Hindi student film, Srajan, directed by Amish Dalela; Hindi short film, The Corona Fighter, directed by Ramanand Tiwari; short Telugu student film, The Reprisal, directed by Aluvala Saiteja Gupta and Nikhil Joel; short Hindi student film, Dr. Ajit Jain - The Real Story, directed by Ajay Kumar Sain; short Nepali-English-Hindi short film, Clinton, directed by Prithviraj DasGupta; student Hindi documentary film, The Bapu Ashram, directed by Diksha Saxena, Kriti Jain and Nibedita Bhowmic; short Marathi film, Passout, directed by Rahul Suryavanshi; Kannada documentary film, Ranga Vaibhoga, directed by Suneel Puranik; Assamese documentary film, Screaming Butterflies, directed by Aimee Baruah; short Hindi film, Barat, directed by Dhawan, starring Akhilendra Mishra; Hindi music video, Haal-e-Dil, directed by Seshu KMR and sung by Neha Karode. The grand Opening Ceremony of Rajasthan International Film Festival - RIFF 2023 will be held on 1st February in Jaipur at the festival venue, INOX, Crystal Palm, C - Scheme, Jaipur. After this, film screenings, open forum, workshops and talk shows will be organised over the next four days, from 2 to 5 February 2023, at INOX, Crystal Palm, C-Scheme only. The grand event of RIFF Closing Ceremony and RIFF Awards Night will be organised on 5th February, in Jaipur itself.
