The San Diego Jewish Film Festival (SDJFF) is part of the San Diego Center for Jewish Culture (SDCJC) at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, JACOBS FAMILY CAMPUS in La Jolla, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Since its inception in 1990, the San Diego Jewish Film Festival has become one of the largest and most prestigious festivals of its kind in the country, and is one of the highest attended cultural events in San Diego.

Attracting over 10,000 ticket holders, the SDJFF presents approximately 100 short-subject, documentary and narrative feature films, an international roster of guest artists, special Underwriter events and theme programs for all ages. The SDJFF aims to educate and illuminate audiences by offering an array of films that depict elements of the Jewish life, history, and culture in challenging, moving, and humorous ways as never seen before. The 12-day festival is an accomplished showcase including guest actors, filmmakers, and scholars who introduce their work, participate in audience discussions, as well as meet-and-greet events with the patrons. These guest artists are the heart and soul of the festival. The festival also includes: The Joyce Forum: A focus on short films and awards, Teen Screen (teens only), FlixMix, Family Film, The Jury Awards, and the Audience Choice Awards.
