![]() Overview of the US business for the week of January 18thAt the box office, Open Road/Briarcliff's The Marksman opened to top spot with a weekend gross of $3.2M at 1,633 theatres. Comscore estimates that the Action-Thriller starring Liam Neeson will bring an estimated $3.7M after adding ticket sales for the Monday holiday. Warner Bros.' Wonder Woman 1984 dropped down to second place with $2.6M, after having led all films in each of the three weeks since its opening on Christmas Day. Universal's The Croods: A New Age took third place with $2M, and now sits at $39.3M cume after eight weeks.
Note that only 37% of North American theatres are currently open and showing films with scheduled showtimes.
