The 18th annual Savannah Film Festival, presented by the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), continued its fourth day of celebrating cinematic creativity in film. Highlights today included: Kristin Davis attended the screening of her documentary "Gardeners of Evil," which she starred in and produced, director Catherine Hardwicke attended the Q&A of her new film “Miss You Already,” which stars Drew Barrymore and Toni Collette. SCAD also hosted the panel "Georgia Film and TV Production: The State of the Industry Address," which addressed production, locations, job training and opportunities, production services and what's next for the Georgia film business. WHO: Actress/producer Kristin Davis ("Gardeners of Evil"); director Catherine Hardwicke ("Miss You Already"); and SCAD President and Founder Paula Wallace. Lee Thomas, director, Georgia Film Commission; Craig Miller, founder of Georgia Production Partnership; LaRonda Sutton, director, City of Atlanta Office of Entertainment; Ralph Singleton, Savannah Economic and Development Authority participated in the Georgia Film and TV Production panel. WHAT: The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) presents the 2015 Savannah Film Festival, which celebrates cinematic creativity from award-winning professionals and emerging filmmakers. The 18th annual festival, held in downtown Savannah, Georgia, runs from Saturday, Oct. 24, to Saturday, Oct. 31.
