Carlos Saura cancels his visit to San Sebastian Film Festival

The filmmaker Carlos Saura, who had planned to present his latest film, Las paredes hablan / The Walls Can Talk, at the Festival, will not be able to travel due to a fall suffered at the last minute. Fortunately, the mishap had no serious consequences, but it has prevented him from travelling to San Sebastian.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 21st, one of the RTVE Galas will host a special screening at the Kursaal 2, Las paredes hablan, the eagerly-awaited new documentary by Carlos Saura on the origin of art and its relationship with the most avant-garde tendencies. Seen from the Spanish moviemaker’s personal and distinctive point of view, the movie portrays the evolution and relationship of art with walls as a creative canvas, from the first graphic revolutions of the prehistoric caves to the most cutting-edge expressions of urban art.

Suso33, urban creator and Cuco, graffiti artist, both participating in the documentary; the San Sebastian born producer María del Puy Alvarado from Malvalanda; Vanessa Marimbert, editor; José Morillas, co-writer; Rita Noriega, co-director of photography; Anna Saura, associate producer and Tamara Santos, head of production. will travel to San Sebastian to support the film, together with Antonio Saura, sales agent at Latido, and Miguel Morales, distributor at Wanda Vision.
