We are seeking compelling and relevant new films on the environment & sustainability. As well as the opportunity to screen your film in the San Francisco Bay Area, being a part of the Festival will connect you with local partners to support the ongoing success of your film.

The festival is open to new or established filmmakers from anywhere in the world and there are no restrictions on length or genre. 

Awards at Green Film Fest 2017

• We are pleased to announce the inaugural Green Fire Award, a juried award for Best Bay Area Environmental Documentary Feature with $5,000 cash prize.   
• We are also accepting entries for the second annual Climate Action Shorts Awards for films that bring us positive solutions to meet the challenges of climate change.
• All entries are eligible for the returning Green Film Fest Awards.
