Revolution at GIFF stands among Grand Jury Award FinalistREVOLUTION, has been selected as a finalist for the Grand Jury Award for Best Documentary Feature at Guam International Film Festival in addition to being selected as this year's Closing Night Film. The Award, which will be presented during GIFF's Closing Night Award Ceremonies on Sunday evening, September 28, 2014, serves to promote the achievements of our outstanding international and Pacific Asian artists.
Only two films out of nearly five hundred submissions from over 50 countries around the world were chosen as finalists for this prestigious recognition.
The Festival program committee is thrilled to include REVOLUTION into the Festival's programming lineup and in addition, felt that it is deserving of the nomination for this special award. The judging of the films in this category will be made by our Grand Jury that is comprised of film industry professionals.
Please note that the GIFF Crystal Awards will be presented only to the receiving filmmakers who are in attendance at the GIFF awards ceremony on Sunday, September 28, 2014. Those of whom are not present will be mailed a certificate of recognition on behalf of the Festival.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Again, on behalf of the Guam International Film Festival, I congratulate you on your outstanding work and we look forward to seeing your nominated work with an enthusiastic reception at the 2014 Guam International Film Festival.
