Revolution

Revolution (86 minutes april 2015) is a film about changing the world. The true-life adventure of Rob Stewart, this follow-up to his acclaimed SHARKWATER (36 festival wins) documentary continues his remarkable journey; one that will take him through 15 countries over four years, and where he'll discover that it's not only sharks that are in grave danger -- it's humanity itself.

Help Rob Stewart's new film save 80 million sharks

150 MILLION SHARKS ARE KILLED EVERY YEAR. WHERE THEY’RE GOING WILL SHOCK YOU! WE NEED YOUR HELP TO SAVE THEM FROM A NEW THREAT.

Dear friend,

When Sharkwater was released, it brought the plight of sharks to more than 124 million people, spawning conservation groups, changing government policy and seeding a movement that has banned shark finning throughout most of the world. Your support got us there.

Sharks

Despite those successes, sharks now face shocking threats. 150 million sharks are killed every year – but scientists can only account for 70 million of those.
Where are the 80 million missing sharks? Many are killed for shark fin soup, yes, but just as alarming, they are being slaughtered for cosmetics, pet food, fertilizer, livestock feed and more. Sharks are even being renamed and fed to us in disguise so we don’t know we’re eating a majestic, endangered animal.

To change all of this, we are making another movie – Sharkwater: Extinction – to bring this multibillion-dollar scandal into the spotlight. We have a jaw-dropping story, and Sea Shepherd Conservation Society ready to go on an epic adventure with the best team possible. The first Sharkwater movie took four years but if we wait that long, 600 million sharks will have been killed! We need your help to make this happen now.

We’ve launched a Kickstarter campaign to support the film. Please support our efforts and share it with your community: You’ll be privy to exclusive perks, like a backers-only T-shirt, Skype sessions with me, tickets to the premiere, dive adventures and more!

We have done so much together, but we still have a long way to go to saving the world’s sharks from extinction. This is the challenge of our time – saving our life support system - and it starts with sharks. The world has never needed you more.
