I cannot believe there are
I cannot believe there are so many in the film/media industry that are so enraptured with this man's talent and the "miscarriage of justice" that they are so able to conveniently absolutely ignore the fact that he is a child rapist. It makes me sad because, according to this line of thinking, of who someone is, his crimes should be ignored. It also makes me re-think ever wanting to support anyone who wants to sign any of these petitions to release him.

I am totally astonished that there are blogs touting for signatories that want the self-confessed chiuld rapist to be freed. He raped/sodomised a child and then evaded justice for over thirty years. Shame on him and his apologists.

i am astonished at people's mean , narominded, puritan attitude and their fanatical need to judge and punish without the smallest doubt , without looking into their own shadows...polanski is not a pedophile...
90% of the male population of this planet have done somethin similar concerning young girls....
i am a woman, i am talking from experience...
just because he is famous doesnt mean he has to be punished..

It's sad to know of a colleague, who for so long is the film market, having to go through an embarrassing situation like this. We use people from various social and cultural levels. And suddenly someone who is out of a film set, got angry and resolve to punish people this way. As the case of the Roman Polansky.
P.S.: I hope a solution to this episode as soon as possible.
