0. For the past four years Project Native has hosted a successful environmental film festival in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts. The festival is unique in that it is the only film festival presented free of charge to the community. By making it a free event, we hope to share information about current environmental issue to everyone in our community.

   Our environmental film festival showcases documentaries selected for their artistry and illumination of global issues and actions that impact our future. Each year we select a variety of films that are both educational and entertaining to give people a feeling that environmental solutions are within our grasp and do-­‐able.

   Films are selected for their support of the mission of Project Native to encourage the stewardship of the planet while serving to educate, inspire, enrage and engage viewers. In addition, we seek to show films that have not been widely distributed in the area.
