Piedmont, SC, USA, January 2, 2014. ProAm USA, maker of camera mounting systems for filmmakers, has announced today the first annual ProAm USA International Student Film Competition. The competition is designed to encourage budding filmmakers and is open to all students attending any high school, college or university worldwide, whether studying film or not.
“Students are tremendously creative, but they have limited public outlets for their work,” said Jennifer Melancon, ProAm USA’s Vice President. “We want to give students a platform to share their talents with the world, and reward both the students and their schools,” she said.

There are four categories awarded by the jury plus a People’s Choice Award that the public can vote on through the ProAm USA website.
