The Golden Gate Awards competition is accepting submissions in 11 categories. Entries must have been completed on or after January 1, 2007. Works that have played a multiday commercial theatrical run in the Bay Area or had any kind of media broadcast are not eligible to apply to non-television categories

INDEPENDENT FEATURES FILM FESTIVAL July 25 - 27, 2008
The Independent Features Film Festival is the world's first film festival in which films will be chosen by a global audience via a web-based competition. The competition will run May 1st, 2008 through June 30th, 2008. The top twenty-one films will go on to be screened at the Independent Features Film Festival which will be hosted July 25-27, 2008 at the acclaimed Tribeca Cinemas in Lower Manhattan.
