Filmmaker Final Four

The Filmmaker Final Four is an innovative competitive festival program that will provide an an opportunity for filmmakers across the country to produce short films and have them presented to live audiences and industry professionals.
Filmmakers will assemble a team to conceive, cast, produce and edit a short film. They will have 16 days to complete the project, based on one of two application deadlines. The program will roll out across 4 separate regions (West, Midwest, Northeast, South)
All projects from each respective community, within one of the 4 regions, will have an opportunity to screen their film for audiences, friends and family. While some regions will have multiple screenings, there will ultimately be 4 winners from each region, as voted on by separate juries and online audience polling.
The 4 films from each respective region will be announced at the end of their quarterly competition. At the end of the year, the Sweet 16 will be announced and have additional screenings take place in Hollywood.

We are Movie Magazine's top 50 festival worth their entry fee. For 8 years, we've been bringing in the finest films from around the world. The film festival became a 501(c)3 and launched in 2009 and now screens more than 90 films each year! Hollywood Director Joe Carnahan is our creative director, and has been a powerful partner with our festival! He has brought us such films as "The Grey" and "The A-Team" with Liam Neeson and just released Wheelman to Netflix which is getting RAVE reviews. He now has his own production company with Frank Grillo, and has recently signed a deal with Sony Entertainment to work on their Adaptation of 'UNCHARTED'. So join us! New York Festivals World's Best TV & Films competition honors programming in all lengths and forms from over 50 countries. New Categories for 2019 include Human Rights Documentary, Digital Short-Form Music Video, Telenovela Promotion, Brand Image, CSR Not-for-Profit, Branded Content, Attitudinal Training, Branded Content Documentary, Student Documentary, Public Relations & Social Engagement.
All Entries in the 2019 competition will be judged online and screened by New York Festivals Television & Film Awards Grand Jury of 200 plus producers, directors, writers, and other creative media professionals from around the globe.
