New York No Limits

New York No Limits Film Series, launched in November 2010, is an ongoing film event that seeks to program films reflecting the essence of the filmmaker's vision, daring in nature and imbued with stories that cross the line of commercial intent.  It is a platform for filmmakers to explore their most vital vision.

NYNL SUMMIT 2016 November 17th - 19th at The Wild Project NYC. All film genres and styles are accepted. International and student films are encouraged to submit. Over the past 5 years NYNL has screened almost 200 films from 25 countries.  All genres accepted as well as student films. Feature film submissions will open soon. 

NYNL is a ongoing collection of screenings that presents the best short films from around the world in the most unique and dynamic arts city in the world. The series provides filmmakers the opportunity to present innovative, taboo and diverse films to a new audience at the state of the art Wild Project event space.  Feature films are accepted throughout the year. Awards announced at the conclusion of the Summit:

Official Press release from New York No Limits Film Series.  NYNL partners with online distributor for unique opportunity for independent filmmakers.  

New York, NY
New York No Limits Film Series (NYNL) is very pleased to
announce a partnership agreement with Festival Genius to present digital
streaming of the participating films in the NYNL Film Series 2012
during the dates of the Summit
and non exclusive digital distribution on IndiePix Unlimited ( after
the event.  


The partnership grants filmmakers unique online access to
new viewers, distributors and producers seeking new talent. Additionally NYNL
is proud to structure the Festival
Pass as a profit sharing
venture with the participating filmmakers.  The online Festival
Pass will also include
an online voting system for film fans to vote for the NYNL 2012 Summit
Audience Award


The partnership is designed to connect independent film fans
with emerging and diverse content, while allowing NYNL and IndiePix
to develop new initiatives for filmmakers. 


The digital streaming event via Festival Genius with
participating films will be available to viewers for approximately one week.
The 2012 Summit will premiere
during the second week of November.


Following the streaming event, filmmakers will have the
opportunity to partner with IndiePix Unlimited for online distribution
via digital download with the option to opt out at any time.  With the distribution opportunity, filmmakers
will gain exposure thru the numerous IndiePix Unlimited monthly
subscribers and other marketing tools to help promote their film.


NYNL, launched in November 2010, is an ongoing
film series that showcases emerging and independent films throughout the year.  In 2012 NYNL will produce four
one night programs of short films. The shorts selected will be showcased ‘In Competition’
as part of the NYNL Film Series 2012 Summit.  The Summit
will also showcase feature films ‘In Competition’ as the film series seeks new
avenues of growth and innovative initiatives to promote filmmakers.
