(https://sites.google.com/site/nkff2009/nkff-2009-program) In 2008, the NKFF had 18 film submissions and 13 films ended up in the program. Your chances of being selected are greater when you submit to smaller boutique festivals like the charming New Kingston film festival in the beautiful Catskills mountains two and a half hours northwest of New York City. This year NKFF has been rewarded a grant and will be providing some stipends to filmmakers to attend the festival.
