Musivision Films
Musivision Films is an artist driven, full service film and music production company located in Montreal Canada. Founded in 2006 by Laurie Gordon, president of Musivision is a boutique production house working with icons of the animation world; animator Oscar nominee Ryan Larkin and Oscar winner Co Hoedeman and three time Oscar nominee cult film Heavy Metal director Gerald Potterton. Laurie is also the director of The Montreal International Animation Film Festival (MIAFF) sometimes referred to as Animaze. Musivision produced documentary film Ryan’s Renaissance (available in French and English versions) began production with partner CTV BelllMedia and broadcast on Bravo. MusiVision is currently in development with animation and feature films, including I Spy My Father about Laurie enigmatic father and a feature documentary film on animation director London born Gerald Potterton his short film High Flight. How did Harvey Weinstein end up on a panel moderated by ex-NY Times reporter Sharon Waxman of The Wrap? Or better how did Waxman succeed in becoming the moderator for the panel headed by Weinstein considering she had written a scathing article in regards to Weinstein's sexual harassment back in 2004! The allegations against Weinstein and odd accounting practices by his production company Miramax, Waxman's article which was heavily edited by New York Times editorial staff resulting in Waxman's less than rosy discoveries on Weinstein's behaviour being laid to rest for another 13 years.

The Times’s Executive Editor Responds to Questions About Earlier Weinstein Reporting

Some readers have asked us about a piece by Sharon Waxman, a former reporter for The New York Times who went on to found the entertainment news website The Wrap. Ms. Waxman writes that Times editors “gutted” a story she reported in 2004 on sexual harassment allegations against Harvey Weinstein.

Ms. Waxman’s piece was prompted by a Times investigation published last week that found that Mr. Weinstein had sexually harassed numerous women over nearly three decades, and that he had paid at least eight settlements to these women. As a result of the article, Mr. Weinstein was fired from his company on Sunday. We asked The Times’s executive editor, Dean Baquet, to respond to Ms. Waxman’s allegations. Here is what he said:
