A documentary film with animated sequences I Spy My Father travels to Montreal, Toronto, Budapest, Paris, Barcelona, the Congo, Jerusalem and more.
The meaning of a man's life is to be found in his legacy.
Leslie Gordon was a key witness at the Adolf Eichmann trial and sole survivor of his family. The film director is his daughter Laurie, the last of this family line.  Leslie leaves a trail to follow where empty spaces reveal more than fact.
I Spy My Father is a dialogue from beyond between father and daughter, centered on the quest to reveal the truth of whether or not Leslie was a spy of which Laurie is convinced is so.
The film follows the daughter's search for her father through his adventures, conundrum of facts and perception, secret desk drawers, binary code, cracked microfilm, cold-war metal cabinets and videotape. We zigzag through her father's life exploring a child's fantasy secret spy Dad persona introducing Secret Agent Super Hero!
