“Ciak” and “Venezia News” publishing the 74th Venice Film Festival Dailies
“Ciak”, the most influential Italian monthly film magazine directed by Piera Detassis, will be responsible for the fourth year, along with the city-magazine “Venezia News”, for the official Daily of the 74th Venice International Film Festival.
“Ciak” and “Venezia News” will publish two-newspapers-in-one with all the news you could want on the 74th Venice Film Festival. The Daily will be at the service of the public, festival visitors and professionals every day for ten days, with presentations of all the films, interviews, special reports on the international film scene, focuses on specific and historical themes, news, columns and off-beat facts for a fuller experience of the Venice Film Festival and the Lido. “Ciak in Mostra” will bring to Lido its big names, the long-awaited satirical cartoons by Stefano Disegni, relaying the news everyday through its own social networks and the web, on ciakmagazine.it and ciakgeneration.it.
"Venezia News", since 1996 the international magazine and guide to the cultural life and events in the city, and since 2009 the official Daily of the Venice Film Fest – will feature in-depth articles on the Festival - directors, actors, genres, soundtracks – with special focuses on the Orizzonti and Venice Classics sections, interviews and presentations by the juries of the Festival. It will also provide daily information to audiences about the project - promoted by the Biennale – "Il Lido in Mostra", intended for the public and in particular for young people, about the special offers, activities and services available on the Lido, and about the events that will be held during the Festival in the city and about the structures in which they may be found.
"Variety" is the Daily for the Venice Production Bridge
"Variety" (the most famous film newspaper in the world) will be responsible for the Daily newspaper of the Venice Production Bridge, an event for film professionals that will take place during the 74th Venice Film Festival from August 31st to September 4th 2017, on the first floor of the Hotel Excelsior on the Lido di Venezia. For five days starting August 31st, the "showbiz Bible" (founded in 1905), will provide coverage of the life of the Venice Production Bridge, focusing on the films being presented and on the many organized initiatives, with international focuses and news reports.
