Houses contain the secrets of their various inhabitants over the years. That is what a worker engaged in demolishing an old house discovers, when he opens a trapdoor to make a macabre discovery. The many people who have inhabited this particular house over a fifteen year period have left their mark, and this is indeed an building with its share of odd tenants. For example, a thief who decides to arrange a theft in his own apartment as a way of finshing off his career in crime in a blaze of glory; a couple that is offered $125,000 for a painting they once possessed but now seems to have gone missing; a student scheduled to be interviewed for a job that he needs badly, keeps practicing his spiel obsessively long after the appointed time has past; a couple looking to have a baby advertise for a donor and are surprised by who answers their ad; and an aging amateur boxer, adamant to demonstrate that he still can go a few rounds with his daughter's new boyfriend, finds that time has taken its toll on his body. The film will open theatrically in Canada on September 7th.
