FILMMAKERS BIOGRAPHYMalcolm Entertainment Biography Mr. Sanders moved on to become a guitarist for fifteen years for several bands, which toured the United States and Europe. He recorded three albums with the Billy Bang Sextet for Polygram Records in Milan, Italy and ITC Records in West Germany. His musical talents are on display in the documentary, "Rising Cross Tones." Oscar was a movie extra in feature films: DEEP IMPACT, MEET JOE BLACK, THE YARDS, CELEBRITY, 28 DAYS, THE SIEGE, NBC's LAW and ORDER (The Original), HBO'S OZ, and a NISSAN commercial. Mr. Sanders caught the filmmaking bug again in 2005 and begun writing and subsequently directing the short film, SPLITTING HAIRS, a police drama about three disgraced homicide detectives looking for redemption. Splitting Hairs was the official selection of the Night Gallery Film Festival 2006 and Pocono Mountains Film Festival 2006, where it garnered a best short film and best original film nomination. Splitting Hairs has also screened on Blue Ridge Video On Demand. In 2006, Malcolm Entertainment produced Know Who You're Talking To, about a desperate woman facing a lose-everything divorce who wants to change her circumstance. Know Who Your Talking To was an official selection in the Night Gallery Film Festival 2006, Magnolia International Film Festival 2007, 'First Friday Cinema'@ BOHEMIO's, Pumelo International Film Festival 2007(India). Trailers for Splitting Hairs, Know Who You're Talking To, and Splitting Hairs 2.0: Case Cold are official selections in Sierra Madre Film Festival 2007 Robert Hill, Malcolm Entertainment's producer/creative consultant/actor, is a graduate of drama at SUNY BINGHAMTON. He has studied and was mentored by Lofton Mitchell, the Tony Award Winning playwright of Bubbling Brown Sugar. He performed and was a fellow student with Tony Award Winner, Ruben Santiago Hudson. Academy Award winning actor, Cuba Gooding Jr. and his brother Omar Gooding are his cousins. Robert's credits include: Cider Mills Theater productions of : CARTOONS FOR A LUNCH HOUR, SCREAMERS and the feature film: STREET SMART.
