Living in the Future's Past

Academy Award Winner, Jeff Bridges presents this beautifully photographed tour de force of original thinking on who we are and the environmental challenges we face. Bridges, alongside prominent scientists and authors, weaves evolution, emergence, entropy, dark ecology, and what some are calling the end of nature, into a story that helps us understand our place among the species of Earth’s household. The film upends our way of thinking and provides original insights into our subconscious motivations, the unintended consequences, what to do about our fossil slaves, and how our fundamental animal nature influences our future as Humankind. Living in the Future's Past to screen at the 1st London Green Film Festival at Regent's Place, July 17-2

All screenings are outdoors and free to the public on the plaza at Regent's Place, which is near Euston. It's a little hard to predict exactly how many people will be there with this outdoor set-up, but the plaza has over 20,000 people a day come through that work there. We have seating for 100 and there's plenty more space for people to sit and stand. The fun part is that everything we do there are the festival is going to reach a very broad, general public audience, beyond the usual Green choir. We have a beautiful big LED screen, green carpet, pop-up vegan cafe, teepee with a bar in the middle of the square. It should be buzzing.
