La Cappella Underground is the organizer of Trieste Science+Fiction Festival, an Italian multidisciplinary event devoted to the realms of the fantastic, the experimental languages and the new technologies in cinema, television and visual arts.

Based in Trieste, an enchanting location on the border of the Balkan Peninsula and the Mitteleuropa, Trieste Science+Fiction Festival (www.sciencefictionfestival.org) was founded in 2000 and, year after year, has asserted itself as the leading fantastic film festival in Italy. As a result, since 2005 the Festival has been an affiliate member of the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation (www.melies.org).
