Please note thischanges in your festival diaries. CALL FORENTRIES NEWS: the late deadline to KINOFILM is due to close on 31st October(forms can be downloaded through the festival web site www.kinofilm.org.uk).ALSO, due to the above changes in the Festival dates, filmmakers now have theopportunity to submit films through a special WithaoutBox deadline until 30thNovember. Please note that films can only be submitted through WithoutaBox tothis deadline. The fee is £25 but WAB members can claim a £5 discount throughWAB. Special Call for POLISH Filmmakers for KINOFILMSpecial Call for POLISH Filmmakers for KINOFILM KINOFILM, Manchester International Short Film Festival Kinofilm announces a special Call for Entries for POLISH short films to its new European Short Film Festival in 2010. The 11th edition of the Festival will take place in Manchester from 23rd - 28th February 2010, as a European Short Film Festival and invites submissions from all over Europe including former Eastern Europe and Baltic States. Kinofilm is currently looking for POLISH short film entries for their Manchester European Short Film Festival. Films need to have been completed within the past 18 months and to a good standard. The call is for Polish and other Eastern European filmmakers – including Baltic States, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Though the 2010 festival focuses on Europe there will be a limited number of entries considered from non-European countries for award-winning films or for those of outstanding merit, for a special International showcase. The DEADLINE for all film submissions to Kinofilm will be 10th September 2009. There is a small entry fee of £5.00 to submit a film. There will be an extended deadline for late submissions to the 30th September though this will incur a higher submission fee of £15.00. Distributors, agencies and educational institutions are exempt but should contact us first to register the exemption. This will be a festival you will not want to miss.
