It is quite difficult to describe the ambiance of this unique festival Michael Radford (The postman) described it onstage with a sincere enthusiasm as “the best festival in the world”

The Ischia Global Film and Music Festival (better pronounce Ischia like the locals "iskia") runs for a week to the greater pleasure the local crowds with moments of communion of friendship and talent… The festival guests (American idols, Italian professionalsand a few privileged media) are treated with an equal family like welcome with lunches and diner parties in the most exotic places, old mauresques castles, country clubs...

The centerpiece is the daily award ceremony where talents receive much deserved applause, congratulations and heavy award. Pascal Vicedomini founder and maitre D of the ceremony improvises magical moments on stage like nowhere in the festival circuit.

Luciano Pavarotti on the phone for 15 minutes chatting from a distance with his friends on stage (he is sick and could not accept in person his award), David Foster (17 times grammy award winner including bodyguard hit soundtrack and so many more) Princess Clothilde Courau singing some Piaf, Tony Renis, Laura Pausini and Andrea Bocelli (3 italian mega stars) singing together…A real treat: but this only the beginning.
