International Film Festival Rotterdam
Combining within its organisation the International Film Festival Rotterdam, the Hubert Bals Fund and co-production market CineMart, IFFR offers a launching pad and supportive platform for innovative and talented independent filmmakers. ![]() First titles confirmed for an in person IFFR 2022 edition in Rotterdam Festival Director Vanja Kaludjercic 51st International Film Festival Rotterdam 26 January – 6 February 2022 Festival director Vanja Kaludjercic: “With huge excitement, we’re announcing the return of our filmmaking community to Rotterdam. This is an opportunity to fully demonstrate the revamped programme structure which we announced last year, but more importantly, it's the chance to finally celebrate the collective experience of cinema again. The programme we’re building for IFFR 2022 will be one worthy of a full return to cinemas and venues in Rotterdam, and this mix of exciting debuts and seasoned come-backs in our first announcement reflects that perfectly. As we move towards the physical return of our festival, we remain determined and ready to adapt to whatever the circumstances require.”
