Following the success of our first Education Day as part of the Insight Festival weekend in March 2013, we are pleased to announce our follow-up event for 14-19 year olds across Greater ManchesterInsight Education EventDate: Wednesday, 12 February 2014 Time: 10.00 am–3.30 pm Venue: Z-arts Centre in Hulme (address: 335 Stretford Road, Hulme, Manchester M15 5ZA,UK) The event also includes the only public showcase on a big screen of the winning entries of the Insight Young Filmmakers Competition and an Award Ceremony. ParticipantsThe event is for teachers and their students, aged 14-19, from all schools and colleges in Greater Manchester. The event is suitable for teachers and students from these subject areas: media studies, film studies, RE, citizenship, history, English, drama, and art. Please note that the event is open to all; it is not an event solely for those students who entered the Young Filmmakers Competition.
