Golden Age of Hollywood Reborn in the Heartland with “Say it in Russian”HOLLYWOOD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--America’s fascination with Hollywood that began in the 1930’s with the advent of “the movie star” is still alive, despite the fact that studio films now look more like video games and comic books. But one independent production company in Los Angeles has proposed to bring back Hollywood’s Golden Age, and is taking this message to Main Street, USA. On May 4, 2009, Imperia Entertainment’s (Pink Sheets:IMPN) award winning independent film, “Say it in Russian” will open in 100 cities across the Midwest and South as part of Carmike Cinemas and Dalton Pictures & Entertainment’s Independent Film Series. The company has revamped its web site for the picture at www.sayitinrussianmovie.com and has cut new 30 second teaser 30 second teaser and 60 second trailer for the production. “We shot a beautiful motion picture,” said Director Jeff Celentano. “And it reminds people of the films that Hollywood became famous for,” he added. It should, because the film also has Faye Dunaway, the academy award winning Hollywood icon of the 60’s and 70’s. “We have Faye, we have renowned British actor Steven Berkoff, and the icon of Soviet Cinema, Oleg Vidov. But we also have the movie stars of tomorrow,” said Kenneth Eade, Executive Producer. Imperia Entertainment will bring their stars to Gala 1930’s style red carpet premieres with all the bells and whistles in select cities to kick off the theatrical release, at 1970’s ticket prices. The cost of a ticket is only $5. “We want people to dress up in their Hollywood best to celebrate a return to cinematic values,” said Eade. “And we promise there will be no 21st Century disappointments.” The red carpet will be open to anyone arriving in an antique car or dressed in a Hollywood era costume. And awards for the best costumes will be given to one “Mr. Hollywood” and “Miss Hollywood” at each venue after each showing. The stars of the film will be available to sign autographs, and speak to the public in a Q&A session. So far, red carpet premieres have been scheduled in Huntsville, Chattanooga, Johnson City, Greensboro, and Raleigh for the week of April 22 through the 26th. 27.03.2009 | imperia12's blog Cat. : actor America California Carmike Cinemas CDATA Company Ticker Contact Details Director English language English people Entertainment Entertainment Entertainment executive Faye Dunaway Faye Dunaway Greensboro Hollywood Hollywood Huntsville Imperia Entertainment’s Independent Film Series Jeff Celentano Johnson City Kenneth Eade Los Angeles Oleg Vidov Person Career Producer Publishing Quotation Raleigh Red carpet say it in russian Say It in Russian Soviet cinema Steven Berkoff Steven Berkoff Technology Technology the Academy Award United States Us Weekly www.sayitinrussianmovie.com XML Independent
