Global Short Film Awards - 2D and 3-D Film Festival

The Global Short Film Awards recognize excellence in highly creative and imaginative 2D films under 15 minutes long. 3-D films under 30 minutes long. Screenings in New York Feb 14-15. Winning films will also be screened in Cannes at the Carlton Intercontinental May 21. These short films will be suitable to meet the increasing content demand for intelligent phones, digital and hand held devices as well as internet, commercial, art, science and educational applications. COST TO ENTER: No cost to enter.
PRIZE: Winners in each category will be announced February 15-16, 2016 in New York. Winning films will be shown during the Cannes Red Carpet Fashion and Awards event at the Carlton Intercontinental Hotel in Cannes, France on May 21, 2016.
For 3-D winners only: A 30-second trailer and banner will be featured on the homepage of www.Qoobex.net for a minimum of 30 days. A distribution offer may be extended to 3-D filmmakers entering this competition, regardless of if they are selected as finalists or winners.
