At the VIP closing awards reception of the 2023 French Riviera Film Festival (FRFF) (www.frenchrivierafilmfestival.com), held at Eden Hotel & Spa in Cannes, France on May 20th, award-winning filmmaker Anurag Kashyap was presented with the 2023 Industry Excellence Award by awards editor, Movie Marker Magazine, Rehna Azim and FRFF co-founder Nicole Goesseringer Muj.  In 2022, the FRFF Industry Excellence Award was presented to Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

"On May 20, 2013, Anurag Kashyap was awarded the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French government at 2013 Cannes Film Festival, when India was the guest country of the festival, commemorating 100 years of Indian cinema," comment Ms. Muj. "Exactly 10 years later, the French Riviera Film Festival was delighted to honor Anurag with this year's Industry Excellence Award."
