Flying Broom Women_s Film Festival
Flying Broom International Women’s Film Festival has been organized since 1998 with the belief that cinema has an impact on the promotion of gender sensitivity. The main purpose of the festival is to use the effective narrative of the cinema to make women and their problems more visible and to create yet another milieu to further the discussions on gender and gender discrimination as well as encouraging the role of women in the world of cinema. Flying Broom is now arranging the 17th film festival, which will be held on 8-15 May 2014.
 17th edition of Flying Broom International Women's Film Festival is ready for your submissions!Submissions for the 17th Flying Broom International Women's Film Festival (8-15 May 2014) are now welcome. We are waiting for your feature, documentary, short and animation films produced in 2013-2014. Films directed or co-directed by women can apply to Flying Broom International Women's Film Festival. To apply, you can send a preview DVD of your film and a filled out application form to the Flying Broom adress below. Application deadline for the festival is 10th March 2014.
