Festival du nouveau cinéma - MontréalDuring eleven days of festival : over 300 films (feature and short films) by directors from Québec, Canada and abroad, installations, performances, transmedia projects, cocktails, parties, conferences, and encounters are offered to the audience. A major event on the Canadian cinema scene for 44 years now, the Festival du nouveau cinéma has proven its ability to continually adapt to the most avant-garde audiovisual practices in the field. Evening projection nightly FNC event partyDon’t Think is the cinematic/musical event of the year. Shot with 21 cameras at the 2011 edition of Japan’s renowned Fuji Rock Festival, …Don’t Think is projected on multiple giant screens and features a sound system and lighting setup worthy of a night club. This event is sure to be a highlight of this year’s FNC. The film will be followed by a set by DJ Cherry Cola who will ensure that you don’t get to bed until late into the night.
