Promote your videoblog

A few tips to improve your visibility on Fest21 and Google:

- Publish original content. Add regularly new content; for example, update your blog once a week

- Use title that describes your content well, choose category for your content and add tags (ie words describing the content).

- For Video, Pictures and Audio files that you upload, it's better to name them video_cannes_festival than video090998980 for example. It also helps search engines.

- Use our special promotion offers and make sure to promote your Festival (Bulletin Board), your Film(Showcase) , your Online Platform (Exposure) and more.

- Share your content on Digg, Delicious, or other social network like Facebook, Netvibes, Myspace, Twitter... Use your RSS to republish automatically in your other blogs.

- Create your own widget to promote your content or general festival content on various websites...

- Add a link to your blog on your other websites, on cinema or blog's directories, on the websites of your partners...

- Add your Videoblog on your press releases

Camille

This is certainly a great

This is certainly a great piece of information. I do appreciate the pain taken in formulating this piece of “Help” tutorial which includes everything from creating a blog entry to promoting it. Everything has been illustrated so well with the help of images and screen shots. I also had some problems with the information uploaded regarding my movie to see it on my LCD HDTV . I could clear my doubt over here. French version is also quiet useful for many. Thanks a lot.

I registered a film but the poster that shows up for it is not mine and has nothing to do with what my film is about. Also, I couldn't find any way to edit a film registration, or a blog entry.

Attention, film festivals and conventions, please read!

Hello people, thanks for taking the time to read this.

As "Craig" is now finished, we're searching high and low for conventions and festivals to submit it to - we're interested in everything from big festivals to small conventons.

Please note, that we are not interested in "invitations" from festivals that it turns out we have to pay submission fees for eventhough we were "invited".
