Since its inception in 2008, FGFF offers independent filmmakers superb hospitality,  enthusiastic audiences, all combining to create a unique festival experience.  Filmmakers receive a VIP pass to the galas where there is elbow-rubbing with producers, directors, and distributors.  The FGFF has honored numerous celebrities, including funnyman Jonathan Winters (“Certifiably Jonathan”), Judd Apatow (“American Storage”), Oscar-winning musical star Shirley Jones (“Elmer Gantry,” “Oklahoma!”, Cheryl Hines (“curb Your Enthusiasm”), Joe Ballarini (“Father vs. Son”), Hal Sparks (“Queer as Folk”), Rainn Wilson (“The Office”), Carlos Mencia (“Comedy Central”). The Feel Good Film Festival is a film viewing experience for the entire family that encourages the development, production, and distribution of short or feature length films with positive themes, happy endings, that make audiences laugh, and that capture the beauty of our world.

The Feel Good Film Festival judges consist of successful industry pros; past seasons have seen the likes of Barry Blaustein (Director and Producer, “BEYOND THE MAT”), Bill Chott (Actor, "THE RUM DIARY with Johnny Depp), Zachary Matz (awarding-winning Producer “CITY ISLAND” and “JOLENE”), Kevin Kelly (Feature Editor, “G4”), Robert Yu (Head of Acquisitoins at IDCAP Media), Joseph Reitman (Actor “MARRIED WITH CHILDREN”) among others.
