Openfilm welcomes all submissions, but screens each video for
technical and production quality. Openfilm's in-house production staff,
which also produces original web shows that appear on the site,
processes all approved submissions to ensure high quality playback.
Openfilm already features many of the Internet's highly popular
viral videos in high resolution, from award-winning animated shorts to
live action videos of different genres and length. The site currently
offers over 1,300 original short films of all genres on more than 300
channels featuring independent filmmakers, production studios, film

in a large, high-definition player. The site's classification of
content as either "video" or "animation" makes it very easy for viewers
to find what they're looking for. Users also have the ability to browse
content by film genre, such as Action or Video Art.

video sharing sites: thumbnail control, transcribing full credits from
the videos, generating subtitles and translation dubs in English and
