FOR ENTRIES 2012 - NEW DEADLINE 8 JUNE

The Encounters team couldn't help getting a little
distracted by the Jubilee bank holiday celebrations which took place in the UK during the last few days. As we wouldn't want
anyone to miss out, we've decided to give a few extra days for you to submit
your films to us. You can now submit until 5pm on
Friday 8 June.
 

Why
Submit?
Encounters is one of the best-known showcases and
networking events for emerging film talent. The festival's international juries discern a whole host of
awards, and we are also the leading UK gateway to the world’s most prestigious short
film and animation accolades: the BAFTAs,
Cartoon D’Or, European Film Awards, and Oscars®!

IMPORTANT
NOTICE: To complete the submissions
process, you must first register your film on the Reelport platform and then
submit it to the Encounters call for entries. If you experience any problems
submitting your film you may find the Reelport
Submission Guide within the FAQ's useful.

Short films and animations are eligible from
all over the world, completed from 1 Jan 2011, under 30 minutes in length from every genre. There
are discounts for multiple submissions (please contact rich.warren@encounters-festival.org.uk).
All entries will be made
available for festival delegates at the festival and online via our Digital Viewing Library.

The 2012 festival will be held between Tuesday 18
– 23 September 2012 in Bristol.
