The Work in Progress section at the Stockholm Fest presents an electrifying line-up

The list of films for this year's Work in Progress at the 22nd Stockholm International Film Festival is now complete and we are honored to present our most compelling and wide ranged program.

Work in Progress will be held on Thursday 17th and Friday 18th of November, and this is the Nordic line-up:

EASY MONEY 2 The follow-up to the very successful Easy Money starring Joel Kinnaman (The Killing). Written by Babak Najafi (Fredrik Wikström/Tre vänner produktion AB)

THE HYPNOTIST by Lasse Hallström (Börje Hansson, Bertil Ohlsson/SF & Peter Possne/Sonet Film AB).

BEKAS by Karzan Kader (Sandra Harms/Sonet Film AB)

COMRADE A Danish-Norwegian WWII drama by Petter Naess (Peter Aalbaek Jensen, Valerie Saunders/Zentropa).

FLICKER by Patrik Eklund (Jan Blomgren, Mathias Fjellström/Bob Film Sweden AB)

BITCHKRAM A Coming of age drama by Andreas Öhman (Bonnie Skoog Feeney/Filmlance International)

BLACK'S GAME An Icelandic thriller by Oskar Thor Axelsson (Thor Sigurjónsson, /ZikZak)

BIRGITTA A documentary about author, gay icon and pioneer Birgitta Stenberg. By Lisa Belfrage and Marianne Gustavsson (Kristina Åberg/Atmo).

FREDRIK EDFELDT'S UNTITLED NEW PROJECT The second feature film from the director of the critically celebrated THE GIRL. By Fredrik Edfeldt (Fatima Varhos/Anna Croneman/Bob Film)

BLONDIE is the third feature film from Jesper Ganslandt (FALKENBERG FAREWELL) (Jesper Kurlandsky/Fasad)

We have already had a positive response from the Industry and feel that high quality Nordic productions are in demand more then ever.", says George Ivanov, Head of Programming at the Stockholm International Film Festival.

MASTER CLASS Zentropa-producer Peter Aalbaek Jensen who produced DOGVILLE, BREAKING THE WAVES, DANCER IN THE DARK, is coming to the Stockholm with his upcoming film COMRADE by Petter Naess (ELLING) for the Industry Days and Work in Progress. Jensen will also hold a Master Class during his stay in Stockholm. The Swedish distributor for COMRADE is Scanbox Entertainment.
