The third edition of the Producers Network soars to new heights!

Successfully launched in 2004, the Producers Network achieved a new level of success for its third edition with 550 producers from 55 countries in attendance, including Peter Fudakowski (Tsotsi), Shozo Ichiyama (The World), Lars Jonsson (Manderlay), Matthew Justice (Klimt), Martin Katz (Hotel Rwanda), Gabriella Martinelli (Tideland) and Jose Maria Morales (Le Couperet).
A real `Network of Networks’, the Producers Network also welcomed and the producers of projects previously selected by the world’s most prominent co-production forums including: the Atelier du Festival, Cinemart, Cinelink, Cineenconstruccion, HAF, IFP’s No Border, Produire au Sud and PPP (Pusan).
Each morning, sixteen high-profile industry professionals would come to share their specialised knowledge under themes such as « The Road to the Oscars », « The Fax on Miramax », « CAA Unplugged », «The World According to Wild Bunch »... Each breakfast of the Producers Network drew more than 200 people every morning.
The producers involved had the opportunity to discuss their projects in an intimate roundtable environment with industry leaders such as Michel Reilhac (Arte France Cinéma), Keri Putnam and Kristin Jones (Miramax Films), Stewart Till (UIP), Robert Burke (Lakeshore International), Oskar Kramer (OK Films), Kevin Iwashina (CAA), Dylan Leiner (Sony Pictures Classics), Matt Brodlie (Paramount Specialty Films), Sara Rose (Picture House) and Charlotte Mickie (Celluloïd Dreams), amongst others.
The Producers Network paid tribute to selected producers from a different region each morning during its daily ‘spotlights’. On the day of the Australian spotlight, Un Certain Regard was prominently represented with three producers having films in Official Selection: Leah Churchill Brown, producer of SUBURBAN MAYHEM (director Paul Goldman), Julie Ryan, producer of TEN CANOES (director Rolf De Heer), and Nick Matthews, producer of TWO THIRTY-SEVEN (director Murali K. Thalluri).
