The Denver 48 Hour Film Project Is Just Around The Corner!

Ready? Set? Film!

The Denver installment of the 48 Hour Film Project will take place Friday, August 3rd-Sunday, August 5th. The 48 Hour Film Project involves an intense, wild and sleepless weekend during which teams comprised of amateur/professional filmmakers, musicians, theater groups, students, artists and interested humans write, shoot, edit and score a film 4-7 minutes in length.
On the evening of Friday, August 5th, the teams gather and are given a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre to be included in their movie. At 7:00pm, they are off and working. Films must be completed by Sunday, August 5th at 7:30pm. Participant films will then be screened for all involved in the event and the general public at the Starz Filmcenter on Wednesday, August 8th. Judges will be on hand and ballots cast for an overall winner to represent Denver at the 48 Hour Film Project's national screening and compete for additional prizes amongst national and international participants.
To learn more about the 48 Hour Film Project and register, visit: www.48hourfilm.com. Team Registration is $125. Entry is first come, first serve.
