The 16th Annual Hola Mexico Film Festival announced the 2024 winners of this year’s Audience Awards
The 16th Annual Hola Mexico Film Festival, presented by the "2025 Toyota Camry," announced the 2024 winners of this year’s Audience Award, “Soy Lo Que Nunca Fui” by Director Rodrigo Alvarez Flores and the Tomorrow’s Filmmakers Today Audience Award, “Onnamusha" by Director Ryan Lopez.
Both films have achieved the top position by garnering the maximum points in the audience award vote, confirming their popularity and appreciation among the viewers.
The festival featured 20 films and 17 short films from its filmmaker-focused program Tomorrows Filmmakers Today. Held in Los Angeles, the annual HMFF has become a staple in the City of Angels, claiming the title of the largest Mexican cinema festival organized outside of Mexico.
After receiving the most audience votes, “Onnamusha” by director Ryan Lopez took home the festival’s Tomorrow’s Filmmakers Today award for best short entry: https://www.holamexicoff.com/tft/.
All award winners will receive a cash prize & a trophy.
