25th MILANO INTERNATIONAL FICTS FESTIVAL”, the most important International Festival dedicated to sports television and movies, World-wide Final of the “World FICTS Challenge 2007” (articulated in 12 seats that will take place in the five Continents) associated with 102 Countries (web site: www.sportmoviestv.com).
At 5 p.m. will be inaugurated a video-photographic unpublished exhibition cured by the Olympic Museum Lausanne – IOC on the protagonist of the “Olympic Games” since 1900 till today on topic ““WOMAN AND OLYMPIC VALUES” to which follow the “Opening Ceremony” of “Sport Movies & Tv 2007” (Palazzo Marino Piazza Scala 2) with the projection of the videos of “Pechino 2008”, “Vancouver 2010”, “Londra 2012”, “Sochi 2014”.
In the occasion of the “25° year of FICTS Foundation”, at the Opening will be present famous personalities of the Sport, the Cinema and the Journalism, whom will awarded with the “Guirlande d’Honneur”, among which: Paralympic Champion Oscar Pistorius, sportsman (equipped with particular prosthesis in carbon fibre) that has arisen the highest level of interest among all the media all over the world, after his participation to the “Golden Galà” as to the 400m, record man on all three distances on which he runs: on the 100, 200 and 400 meters, Philippe Leroy, the famous French actor who’s fond of sport and that has been a rugby player with the National Team, Massimo De Luca Editor of Raisport and 30 “Gold Medals of the Olympic Value”. “AMOVA Awards” for Fiorenzo Magni, Stefania Bianchini, Giacomo Agostini and Vincenzo Onorato.
In European preview (at Palazzo Giureconsulti in Piazza Mercanti 2 at 8,30 p.m.), the projection of the film “Wilma - The story of Wilma Rudolph” directed by Bud Greenspan, author of the official movies of the Olympic Games of the last 30 years.
The event will consist of 150 Projections on 52 sports disciplines coming from 45 Countries, 8 Meetings, 2 Workshops, 2 Exibitions, 5 Side events, 4 Presentation of books and 30 Awards,
There will be, for the Media and television, a space for the personalized interviews to Oscar Pistorius, Philippe Leroy and the other guests, at the end of the ceremony, after 7 p.m. at Palazzo Marino in Piazza Scala 2, Milan).
