International Motivational Film and Sport Festival BRIDGE of ARTS has announced the program of its business forum which would take place on August 24-25, 2017. The forum’s focus is «Cinema economics: new markets». The forum’s target goal is bringing investment into the industry in general, and into children’s and family films production sector in particular. The forum discussions will result in signing the agreement with European Children’s Film Association ECFA.

BRIDGE of ARTS aims to become a business communication platform for film industry insiders.  Strategic session «Faster than Trend. Alternative Platforms for film content distribution in Russia. Global and Domestic market «New media»» will open the forum on August, 24. Distribution companies, on-line theaters’ owners and operators will share on-line film content consumption statistics worldwide and in Russia, and therefore will provide online viewing data. Participants will analyze competitive markets in terms of audience structure and range, and will outline the portrait of on-line audience.

Roundtable «Event films – long way to audience? …» and panel discussion «Brand content: event films creation tool in consumption area» will be held at the same day. Experienced filmmakers will discuss short films, custom animated, environmental and documentary film promotion techniques. The forum will draw emphasis to films from competition and special programs. Producer Ruben Dishdiayan, actor and director Kirill Pletnev, head of «AKM» distribution company Dmitry Mozhaev, head of «Sovteleexport» distribution company Yulia Matyash, Italian producer Massimo Christaldi,  director of «Yandex»  videoservice development Olga Filipuk, film industry communication initiatives expert Anastasia Sergeeva, British producer Nick Powell, bookselling company «Volga» communications director Ekaterina Nazarova, director, producer, chairman of University of Cambridge Alumni Group for Film and Other Media, chairman of The Independent Film Trus Neil McCartney, Montecatini international Short Film Festival president, Marcello Zeppi, Amadeus entertainment distribution company director Ivo Fiorenza, repsentatives of film company «Souz Marins Group» and other distinguished figures will be speakers of the first day of forum.

International roundtable and European Children’s Film Association (ECFA) presentation will open the second day of the event. «Association’s representatives, European film industry experts such as  Gert Hermans, Elise van Beurden, Marketa Pasmova and Michael Harbauer will inform about production budgeting mechanisms and children’s and family films promotion strategies in Europe. ECFA and BRIDGE of ARTS will sign a cooperation agreement that will support the festival’s campaigns in the region and will lay foundation for new joint projects», - Ekaterina Bordacheva, Russian Film Market program director and BRIDGE of ARTS business forum curator said in a statement.

«KIT» film studio presentation supervised by Dzhanic Faiziev will be a spotlight of the forum. the The studio founded in 2016 in cooperation with «Central Partnership». It produced two full-length films: epic blockbuster Furious (Legend of Colovrat) (release date 30.11.17) and fantasy action drama Border (release date 22.02.18). The studio produces 300 hours of serial content for such channels as NTV, «Pervy Channel», TNT, Russia, STS and others.

Pitching sessions for scriptwriters and producers, as well as masterclasses, will be conducted within the framework of our forum (August, 24-25).

III International Motivational Film and Sport Festival BRIDGE of ARTS will take place in Rostov-on-Don, August 23–27. The festival will include full-length and short film competitions, non-competition screenings, business forum of film and media content. Russian National Tourism and Travel Competition «Russia Inspires! is a special project of BRIDGE of ARTS 2017.

II International Motivational Film and Sport Festival BRIDGE of ARTS 2016 received Grand Prix at RussianEventAwards 2016 in «Best Tourist Event Dedicated to the Year of Cinema» category. It became a laureate of Russian National Event Tourism Competition а RussianOpenEventExpo 2016 in «Innovative Event Project» category.
