Leading UK-based film industry publicist Ginger Corbett is leaving Premier PR to pursue other projects that she has been developing.

Ginger has been with entertainment press and marketing agency Premier since 2001, when she and business partner Sara Keene brought Corbett & Keene, the agency that they set up in 1988, into the newly formed Premier Public Relations.  

Over the years Ginger has worked with some of the world's most celebrated filmmakers as well as handling corporate accounts and on numerous UK and international film campaigns including premieres and major film festival events.

Over the years she has added enormous value to Premier helping to build it into the agency that it is today with more than 100 publicists servicing clients across the entertainment sector.  She is very much part of this company's DNA and will be much missed by me and all her colleagues, but we wish her the very best with her future projects."

Ginger Corbett says: "I am very proud to have set up Corbett & Keene with Sara Keene and have experienced a very small company growing into a big international success.  I feel that I now need time to complete the research on a book that I have in development and a couple of design projects, as well as undertaking some occasional work with Premier. So my ties with the company will not be entirely severed."

A full-service agency, Premier's teams comprise specialists working across film, television, theatre, games, music and dance as well as luxury brands, social media, personal representation and red carpet event management.

Last year Premier was named UK PR Team of the Year at the Screen International Marketing and Distribution Awards as well as Agency of the Year by the British Video Association.  Currently Premier is working on a number of major new films on release in the UK, or about to be released, including The Iron Lady for Pathé, The Artist for Entertainment, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo for Sony, The Lion King for Disney, Coriolanus for Lionsgate, and Martha Marcy May Marlene and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel for 20th Century Fox, and has just handled the premieres for Disney's War Horse, Paramount's Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol and Coriolanus.  The agency is also working at full-steam on the BAFTA and Oscar® film award campaigns as well as handling unit publicity on uwantme2killhim, directed by Andrew Douglas, Under the Skin, directed by Jonathan Glazer and starring Scarlett Johansson, and Dustin Hoffman's directorial debut, Quartet.
