ITN Distribution inc to honor CHIRON FILMS INC at the Cannes Film Festival

ITN Distribution Inc. today announced that they will honor US/French Co-Production company Chiron Films, Inc. at a reception during the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. ITN Distribution Inc will co-host the evening with its sister company, The New York International Film Festival at the Penthouse Terrance on the Croisette overlooking the Mediterranean on May 15th at 7pm. Talented filmmakers Etienne Goldet, Paul Harth and Cee French Harth will receive an Honorary Award to recognize their contribution to independent filmmaking. Members of the press, buyers, distributors and A-list personalities have also been invited to attend.

Headquartered in New York City, Chiron Films Inc. has produced one successful short film with one feature film in pre-production. is a Sci-fi dramedy featuring Oscar-winner Gary Busey (The Buddy Holly Story) directed by Goldet. Grégoire, a 28 year-old yuppie from Paris, faces a larger than life twist of fate. All clad and dressed in his 70's suit, Gregoire journeys out to the hottest costume party in Paris and winds up in a 1977 Texas dump instead. The universe sends arrogant Gregoire through a portal to face his fate.

To date, the film has been selected for eight film festivals and won three awards for "Best Director" at the Philadelphia First Glance Film Festival, a "Festival Spotlight Award" at the Beverly Hills Film, Television and New Media Festival and an "Audience Favorite Award" at the NYC Industry Power Play's Sci-Fi Night Event.

This Fall, Etienne and Chiron Films, Inc. are partnered up to shoot a feature titled Tupelo 77, which takes place in Mississippi in the year 1977. Tupelo 77, written by Richard Mancuso and Shawn Wilson, is a film about the idiosyncratic characters who work at and frequent a rural diner outside Tupelo, Mississippi during the summer of 1977, the year of Elvis Presley's death and the hottest summer on record in Mississippi. The film chronicles their efforts to transcend the grueling obstacles of poverty, racial and religious differences, and the persistent wounds of war.

Following Tupelo 77 and in development is one of Chiron Films, Inc.'s own works titled Teotihuacan To Texas. A journey about a young man finding his way to Texas through some trials that occurred in his hometown of Teotihuacan forcing him to flee after accidentally getting mixed up with the very wrong people. We watch Felix go through some tough, life altering and amazing experiences upon his quest to discover his new life, love, family and passion for hockey in the unexpected place called America in this epic tale.

In addition Chiron Films. Inc. has several additional film and television projects. With a very diverse slate, Chiron Films, Inc. does a wide variety of work in all genres in both film and television. Currently they have a TV Pilot looking for a network titled "French Kitchen" a kids cooking show which is on par with Michelle Obama's new program "Let's Move." This innovative and original show is a live action and animation show that teaches kids how to cook great recipes and eat healthy while giving them the tools and knowledge of the kitchen along with some fun scientific experimental things you can do with certain ingredients right in your own home!

ITN Distribution President Stuart Alson said, "The versatility at Chiron Films, Inc is very exciting - their talent for writing, producing and directing a wide range of projects is starting to garner attention they richly deserve." Alson further stated, "We look forward to celebrating their achievements."
