Ischia is probably the only festival in the long list of festivals that can boast such a program of gala receptions organized daily along with a an award ceremony.

The list of recipients of Ischia awards, Friends of Ischia, Producer of the year...is long and has Pascal Vicedomini work miracles to squeeze long thank you speeches in the middle of a lavish party without lowering the ambience or simply boring the audience.
Pascal, as a trained master of ceremony, mananges to extract the best from the Hollywood talent and performers.
This is called friendship and improvisation.
Talking to my former boss Mark Canton while waiting over 20 minutes to get a ride to the party I was telling him that if I had the handled the cars  for the execs like that in Cannes I would not have survived a week . Mark remplied "but Thank God this is not Cannes".

The waiting was worth it by the way, occasion to chat, network and much more.
