With great sadness we have just learned the death of the talented Indian director Shaji N. Karun, spécial mention - camera d'or Cannes 1989. 

Vesoul IFF Asian Cinema presented several of its major films: Piravi, Swaham (Destinée), Vanaprashtam,... His talent has earned him many international awards and being named a Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et Lettres of the French Republic.
