The 11 days long festival has 6000 plus delegates and about 200 films from 40 countries. This year focus has been given on films from Argentina with five feature films.

The festival is paying homage to 11 personalities with splendid presence of serious films that struggle with politics, economy, life and art in a new world.

The 37th IFFI opened at Dayanand Bandodkar Football Ground, with lot of mess in event management, there after with the inaugural film “Volver” by Pedro Almodovar. The film received warm appreciation even in repeat show on next day.
