Celebrate with us the 60th anniversary of the Golden Prague! It's one of the oldest and most prestigious festivals dedicated to the television industry, with a history dating back to 1964. Over the years, it has established as a platform for showcasing the best in TV production, attracting filmmakers, broadcasters, producers, and other industry professionals from around the world. This year jubilee edition takes place September 20-23, 2023 at the New Stage of the National Theatre and the program promises to be truly spectacular! 

The beginning of March marks the official launch of the film submissions and we now invite filmmakers from around the world to enter their films to the Golden Prague international competition. Don't miss the chance to showcase your talent and join us in commemorating this special milestone. The winners are awarded prestigious prizes, including the Grand Prix Golden Prague with a financial award of EUR 10,000, that is considered to be one of the most significant awards in the television arts industry.

TV programs dedicated to music, dance and theatre (regardless of musical genre) compete in three categories:

• Documentary programs dedicated to music, dance and theatre
• Recordings of stage work (recordings of operas, operettas, musicals, dance, ballets, theatre performances etc.)
• Recordings of concert performance (symphonic/orchestral performances, chamber music, recitals etc.)

In addition to individual programs Golden Prague Festival also accepts individual parts of series or cycles for the competition, if it is possible to judge them on their own merit.
