Final Day of IFFLA 2017!

Final day of IFFLA 2017!

Join us tonight for the IFFLA 2017 Awards Ceremony and Closing Night Gala, presenting the Los Angeles premiere of HOTEL SALVATION, starring Adil Hussain and Lalit Behl. The film tells a wry but heartfelt story about a son accompanying his father to the holy city of Varanasi, where the father will await the end of his life. Hussain will be in attendance at the Gala!

This event is almost sold out. To avoid standby lines, purchase your Gala tickets now for this must-see event, which includes a red carpet, and an after party at Spice Affair in Beverly Hills.

Our strong lineup on the final day of the festival also includes:

1:00 PM: Inspiring tale A BILLION COLOUR STORY centers on a Bohemian family whose gentle existence is upended by the realities of a country in crisis. Director "Paddy" Narasimhamurthy and producer Satish Kaushik will be in person for a Q&A!

1:30 PM: Join us for CHUTNEY POPCORN: NISHA GANATRA AND INDEPENDENCE, THEN AND NOW, a panel discussion with Nisha Ganatra, Elaine Hendrix, Parveesh Cheena, Jason George and Danny Pudi, and a screening of Ganatra's dazzling 1999 directorial debut CHUTNEY POPCORN.

3:45 PM: A DEATH IN THE GUNJ is celebrated actress Konkona Sen Sharma's directorial debut, a 1979-set drama centering on a wealthy family's vacation. As simmering tensions turn the getaway into a powder keg poised to explode, Sen Sharma's confident direction announces her as a fierce new filmmaking talent.
