Film Bazar is open at IFFI 2005 in Goa

Film Bazar , an exhibition and co-ordination center for global film business has been inaugurated by Shri Jaipal Reddy, as a part of IFFI-2005 at Kala Academy by lighting ceremonial Lamp.

Film Bazar aims at facilitating the sale & purchase of films and film production equipment and items. It act as a networking platform for presenting and promoting films and exploring business opportunities. The participation includes amongst others , Indian film exporters Association, Children Film Society of India, Films Division National Film Development Corporation, Prasar Bharti and the French Embassy.

Exhibition depicts the History of Indian Cinema through its different sections. Starting with the movie images of July 1896, the first screening of Indian Cinema, further passing through talkie era, Black & white, color Cinema and latest trends of Bollywood, tollywood, and south cinema. It also showcases the Masters of Indian cinema and development of Regional cinema.

French Embassy has noted participation in the iffi 2005. French programmes continue to perform well in the International marketplace, despite greater competition, and attracted worldwide viewers in increasing number every year in all the area of animation, drama & features.

Malde & Company, a consulting organization from India, with its U.K. based counterparts has provided DCMS certification services to various feature films, both international co-productions and Indian films. The firm extends its services for co-production treaties with International qualification.

A feature film “Chota Sipahi” produced by the Children Film Society of India & directed by Ms Jayashree Kanal was previewed in Film Bazar. The film has won the National award for the best performance of the child actor. Ms Nafisa Ali had special interaction with media during the show and assured for better performance and more –n-more films for little ones.
