FEST - New Directors | New Films Festival Presents the 1st Film Book Fair
With 2 months left until the 15th edition of FEST we take this opportunity to present the 1st Film Book Fair to take place during FEST 2019.
This unprecedented initiative represents an excellent opportunity to find, in just one place, books and various items dedicated to the world of Film that are not commonly available. The event will be a celebration of Film Literature!
While it'll be mainly focused on film literature, from technical books about the field, to stories that have been adapted to the big screen, and film professionals' books and biographies; it will also offer merchandising, DVD’s and other film formats, as well as film antiques and paraphernalia. Additionally, book presentations will be held with special guests.
Application for presence in the 1st Film Book Fair are open until the 7th of May
The Book Fair will be held in the FESTival Village, an open-air space next to the Praia da Baía, with more than 2500m2, that also includes an Industry Lounge, limited to participants with FEST-PRO accreditation; the Beach Cinema, with daily open-air sessions; a food area and a number of activities linked to the festival’s program.
The 1st Film Book Fair will take place between June 21st and 30th, from 10h to 23h.
